- China + Vietnam manufacturing coordination
OUR SERVICES
Die casting
Die casting can be used to produce housings, brackets, heatsinks, engine components, transmission parts, and structural metal components. LEAD MFG supports die casting projects from tooling design and material selection through casting, machining, finishing, and assembly.
Capabilities
Our Capabilities
Gravity die casting is used for larger, thicker-walled parts where slower fill rates and lower tooling cost are acceptable. GDC works well for prototypes, low-volume production, and parts that need structural integrity over thin walls.
Gravity die casting is good for:
- Aluminum A356, AlSi7Mg (heat-treatable); zinc alloys
- Min wall 3mm, max 50kg, T6 heat treatment available
- ISO 8062 ST5–ST7 tolerance
- Tool life 30,000–50,000 parts
- Hydraulic valves, pump housings, pressure-tight brackets
Low-pressure die casting is used for parts that need improved density, reduced porosity, and better mechanical properties than gravity casting. LPDC works well for wheels, structural components, and pressure-tight applications.
Low-pressure die casting is good for:
- Aluminum A356, AlSi7Mg; magnesium structural and cosmetic parts
- Min wall 3mm, max 30kg, ISO 8062 ST5–ST6
- Cycle 3–6 min, tool life 50,000+ parts
- Oxides float to the runner — properties exceed GDC
- Automotive wheels, cylinder heads, motor housings
High-pressure die casting is used for complex, thin-walled parts with tight tolerances and high surface quality. HPDC works well for high-volume production of housings, brackets, and detailed components in aluminum and zinc.
HDPC is good for:
- Aluminum, zinc, magnesium — clamping 125T–800T
- Min wall 0.8mm (aluminum), max 12kg, ISO 8062 ST4–ST5
- Die life 100,000+ shots, cycle in seconds
- Trimming, shot blasting, CNC mating faces, powder coat
- Handheld housings, laptop frames, LED heat sinks
Materials
Materials for Die Casting
- ADC12 / A380 for general-purpose housings, brackets, and automotive parts
- A360 for improved corrosion resistance and pressure-tight applications
- ADC6 / A413 for good castability and thin-wall capability
- AlSi10MgFe for structural parts needing higher strength
- Zamak 3 for general-purpose die cast parts with good dimensional stability
- Zamak 5 for higher strength and hardness in mechanical applications
- Zamak 2 for bearings, wear parts, and high-strength requirements
- AZ91D for lightweight structural parts in automotive and consumer electronics
- AM60B for improved ductility and impact resistance
Surface Finishing Options
Surface finish is applied to parts after they have been machined to create a unique surface layer to meet the hardness, chemical resistance, and appearance requirements of the products. It depends on material properties and the application of the part. LEAD offers the following finishing options for sheet metal services:

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike traditional liquid paint, which is applied with an evaporating solvent, powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and cured with heat or ultraviolet light.

Bead blasting produces a smooth, matte-textured surface, and sharp edges can be broken and deburred for safe handling. Bead blasting can also improve the mechanical strength, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of parts.

Brushing is a surface treatment process in which an abrasive belt is used to draw marks and lines on the surface of products to achieve a decorative texture.
Why Us
Customers choose LEAD MFG when they need a real manufacturing partner, not a loose supplier network. We focus on technical communication, quality consistency and a clean route from prototype to production.
DFM feedback, tolerance review and process recommendations before production decisions.
Keep project knowledge with one partner as volume and requirements change.
Use China engineering depth and Vietnam manufacturing flexibility when supply chain risk matters.
CNC, sheet metal, molding, die casting, 3D printing, extrusion, finishing and assembly.
Practical inspection planning, repeatable process control and clear production documentation.
Match the project to the right facility, stage and risk profile.
Design guides, material guidance, equipment lists and QA resources support buyer confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions
We accept 3D CAD files in STL, STP, STEP, OBJ IGS, or IGES format and 2D drawings(jpg, png, gif, BMP, pdf) with dimensional details and specific manufacturing requirements.
We respond within 2 hours after your request. Princing quote will be send within 8 hours.
Yes, master models are used to create silicone molds for vacuum casting and can be made from any rigid solid that can withstand heat up to 100 °C. Models used for CNC machining will be 3D scanned to create a CAD/CAM program for production.
Quality parts less than 1000pcs can be made in as fast as one week if you provide complete 2D and 3D CAD models. More complex parts requiring other special features will take longer. As for shipping, most of our shipments are via air freight, which can take 5-7 days from China to Europe or North America.
We respect your intellectual property. None of your information, images, files or likenesses will be shared with any third party, and it will not be used for any advertising, marketing, or promotional use without your explicit written authorization. If you would like to sign NDA agreement, please contact our team for support.
We follow the ISO/IATF standard and guarantee that we will rework the products or refund them if there are any quality problems. The full-dimensional report, material certification, or first article inspection are provided on request before order placement.
